The Wine Institute asked us to create a unique experience to showcase their 1000+ members. Featuring a Yahoo! Maps Flex API mashup utilizing the Zend PHP framework.
We delivered a RIA that displays wineries in the state of California geo coded by address. Enhanced functionality elements include ability to create custom database entries, update winery locations, create specific search requests based on date range, amenities, winery name and wine varietals.
The site also features an ability for users to submit events for inclusion on web site and a "Create your own wine tour" component. Users can save and edit wine tour information and export printable driving directions to Yahoo.com.
